I have been given notice I can not procrastinate any longer. My beloved wife, along with my scheming children, have finally obtained my consent (as if they ever really needed it) to hold a giant yard - garage - rummage sale, this weekend - I would love to come up with a more dignified name for the event, but nothing innovative comes to mind. I never go to these types of sales, unless 'the one who must be obeyed' drags me along, so actually having one is not something I look forward to. I even pointed out that most people surely have had their fill of yard sales by now, but that advice fell on deaf ears. Just thinking about my beloved books, CDs, DVDs and other treasures put out on display sends a shiver up my spine, but as I have been repeatedly reminded, we are not a public library and how many CDs can one listen to in the course of a year. So, I will be brave, and say 'out, and so long' to my prized gems. I hope they find themselves a nice home, and bring as much joy to their next owner as they have to me. If you're in Moncton this Saturday, July 23rd, drop by and say hello ˆ I will be glad to see some friendly faces. 3083 Mountain Road, Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada
