I've just seen Arnold "Calf. Governer" Schwarzenegger's the 6th Day. Man, there's Vancouver everywhere. It is interesting to see how Hollywood movie changes the actual scenery into settings the film requires. In fact, the real hero in this movie is Vancouver Public Libraray not Mr. Schwarzenegger. ;D For those who haven't seen this one. The flick itself is sub par, lame, typical Hollywood "most of the budget went to stars' salary" kinda movie. Beautiful scenery of Vancouver and excellent Mr. Duvall aside, there's not much to see.

I never did see this movie, but I do remember the filming. One scene they filmed up at SFUand involved a car chase... which is ridiculous, because the campus is covered in stairs. A little "mishap" created a small fire, which smoked out the library and all the students in it. SFU is known as an "activist" campus, and there was weeks of complaining after that one ruined evening. Somehow, I think my memories of the filming will provide me more entertainment than Governuh Arnold wooping butt for 6 Days.

That's interesting. If somebody had shot a documentary about the incident like Mr. Moore's, he could have made more amusing flick than 'The 6th Day.' This a scene from the movie. The Vancouver Public Library is supposed to be a future science lab. I saw some film shootings during my stay, but I didn't have any luck to see celebrities. In fact before I went, I had had a secret desire to see Rene zellweger. Has anybody seen any celebs in the lower mainland?

I saw Liam Niesen on a Kitsilano Beach trail and Robin Williams riding a bicycle around Stanley Park's beaches.
